Hurricane Creek Wilderness Area

This hike takes me into Hurricane Creek Wilderness Area from the west. I parked on the west boundary on Parker Ridge Road and followed a ridge to the bluff line that overlooked Hurricane Creek running east to west. Entry was made at 5:45 a.m. with a temp around 55 and partly cloudy skies. The sun was just rising behind some clouds but the view was great. After exploring the rocks for a while I scrambled down the mountain and followed the creek upstream and turned north on Greasy Creek. The left fork was then followed back to my starting ridge and back to my vehicle. Total mileage was around 8.5
